The Rocky Mountain Mining Institute is once again seeking applicants for our scholarships. These awards total $5,000 over a three‑year period, distributed as follows: $2,000 for the initial award, $2,000 for the first renewal, and $1,000 for the second renewal. Scholarships are available to students pursuing a degree in a mining‑related field or in engineering disciplines such as mining, geology, mineral processing, metallurgy, electrical, mechanical, or environmental engineering. Applicants should demonstrate a clear interest in pursuing a career in the mining industry.
The Rocky Mountain Mining Institute is committed to promoting all facets of mining and highlighting its importance to the next generation of industry leaders. Scholarship recipients will also receive an all‑expenses‑paid trip to the RMMI Annual Meeting in Colorado in late June, where they will have the opportunity to meet industry professionals and attend a variety of technical sessions.
